Alexander LaPlante is a Director, Music Director and Actor who recently relocated to the Los Angeles area. A graduate of Emerson College, Alex has had a storied and successful career in Orlando Florida where he has had the pleasure of working as a Director and Music Director with Equity houses such as the Orlando Shakes, Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and the Orlando Family Stage. Credits include, A Charlie Brown Christmas: National Tour, Million Dollar Quartet, Pump Boys and Dinettes, Hair, The Lightning Thief, Ride the Cyclone and many more.

Alexander believes in the power of Entertainment as a way of commenting on today with a sense of levity. Theater and film should be fun! Alex holds to the ideal of creating the art he wanted to see as a child and strives every day to make that art a reality.

When not working on his craft, Alex likes to spend time at the Go-Kart track striving to beat his best time. You can also find him at the movies keeping up with what is new, exciting and fresh in the industry.
